I need a vacation

For the past 2-3yrs my family had been asking me when I was coming back home to visit and deep down I've been trying but I was always working just to make ends meet (at the time) and leaving for a few days was me losing out on money. BUT this year I promised myself that I was going to do everything I want to do and no amount of money is going to stop me from seeing my family. We can be here today and gone tomorrow and it helps that I am on my feet and can take days off and not stress about anything!

Also one of my dreams was to see my 2 God children together at the same time in the same place and that's difficult because one is in Pennsylvania and the other is in California. So when going home to Cali to see my family and knowing my bestfriend and God Daughter in Pennsylvania would be there, I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

So me and my boyfriend took an 8 1/2hr drive from Las Vegas, NV to Seaside / Monterey, CA and it was worth EVERY minute! Now I feel refreshed. It's crazy because I never really appreciated where I come from until after I moved away and when I would tell ppl they would react like I was EVERYTHING! lol. I love me some WESTCOAST and I am happy to be from California but I also love living in Las Vegas. West is West.
