No Boiz Allowed

Here is an insight of what I have been working on since summer of 2010. Now is the time that everything is about to unfold.

When you have a vision, a dream, a goal, a purpose in life, I encourage you to run with it. No matter what difficult path you may face and no matter the criticism that may come your way, always move forward.

Eliminate all of the negative thoughts because those are only setbacks. The more time you dwell on the "what ifs" and the more time you feed the doubts is enough time wasted believing you can't do it and the negative thoughts will continue to grow. DO NOT FEED DOUBTS.

I first came up with No Boiz Allowed in the summer of 2010. My mind and heart was set on this idea and no matter what I did for weeks, that would be all I thought about. I always felt that my purpose in life was anything to do with creativity and helping others. I knew in my heart the one thing women like you and me needed was a positive place to go when we feel a lone. A place to laugh, get advice and in return share your insight.

My doubts for the idea crept up on me a few months after I mapped out my vision. Instead of me executing my idea, I did nothing else about it. An artist eventually began promoting her album titled "No Boys Allowed" which became her movement of women empowerment as well as mine. I got depressed and gave up but as time moved on, my vision was ALL I could think about.

Then I woke up. To stop my dream and give up would defeat the purpose of the No Boiz Allowed brand. Us as women need to stick together, encourage one another, work harder, invest smarter. We cannot worry about what people may say or think because no matter what you do, good, bad or neutral, they're going to talk. What I will worry about is making my dreams a reality and you should too. I will not stop at good enough but will continue to strive to be the best me.
